Shocking ref but in the end the three points we desperately needed were achieved.

For me too many changes of personnel and formation changes this season. Laporte struggled last season at Anfield on the left so lets hope this was not his audition for that role on sunday.

Bit lacklustre second half and no where near last seasons standards. Convinced more consistent performances will come with more consistent formation and team selections.

Is there any real point in perservering with this competition? We cant be expected to play the referee in every single match as well as the opposition.
