Already qualified but need to cement top spot tonight.

Injuries have hit us at the moment. That said this will not be an easy game, hoffenheim are no mugs. There is added pressure tonight on Jesus’ shoulders because at the moment he is very very low on confidence, the worst grey area since his signing.

He needs to believe now on his own ability, i want to see him play with no fear and use his skill to beat the opposition. It might be time for him to think a little more selfishly if the opportunity arises for him to either beat a player or jink his way to creating a goal scoring opportunity

We need a fully firing Jesus to start turning up now
Last match he shot from a very tight angle where he should have laid it off. I don't want him to become more selfish, I want him to continue being a team player, but judge the opportunity, goals will come.

....... Stones......................Vinnie........................Otta..........
Walker............................Gundog.................................Delph

Mahrez..............................Jesus...................................Sane
Subs Muric, Zinch, Raz, Laporte, Diaz, Foden, Bolton/Herrera/Nmecha

Maybe a change in tactic to 3 at the back seeing as it's the only position with no injuries?? Still looks a pretty good team despite our ridiculous injury record

Not a bad shout.
Given our injuries (is Walker out, too??) and that 1 point is enough and EVT early for Saturday lunch
Pep might even match Hoffenheim's 3-5-2
to tighten it up and go for some quick counters.

................................Ed
.........Ota............Komps.........Laporte
Stones..........Gündogan/Delph.......Zinchenko
.........Bernardo.............Mahrez/Foden
...............Raz...........Sané/Jesus

Could turn out as a very interesting match tactic wise...

Stones as a right wing back? Bloody hell.

As mad as it may sound, I would rest Eddie tonight. With our current injuries, we cannot afford for him to get a knock tonight with such a busy league fixture approaching and us already qualified

Actually I think Pep will limit our risk as much as possible.
He already said the 2nd leg at home is important and avoiding a group winner certainly, too.

Ederson will be ok for sure, but I also wouldn't mind Muric.
Some other tricky decisions though..

Looks like a big crowd tonight and a second string team.
Should be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like.
