Holiday suggestions

My daughter and her husband take the kids to the 'Just So' festival every year. The kids are 5 and 3 and they love it, they look forward to it every year. They take them on at least 3 holidays a year. They do a haven camp that is geared for kids, then they go away with his mum and dad, usually to somewhere abroad and expensive, and they go to the Just So festival, which is like Glastonbury for kids. Out of the 3, both kids and parents enjoy he festival the most. It's in Cheshire too, so not far to go.

Think the water park is playa dem bossa. Santa eularia is quite a big town but a lovely little beach and loads of really good restaurants. I'll be back there in April and July, can't wait.

Going back for 7th time to Santa Eularia Ibiza, ideal for a family would recommend to anyone.

Croatia. Sunny weather, very cheap and friendly people.

I second that, amazing location, food and weather. Cheap transport via boat as well for trips and days out.

I want somewhere cheap this year even for 4 or 5 days, been looking at Greece as never been.

We've booked for cala bona this year. Was hoping someone was going to say there
Been there 4 times + twice to Cala Millor next door. CB is mainly an English resort, whereas CM is German. A 10 minute walk along the pedestrianised road between the two. The harbour side restaurants at CB are brilliant, my favourite being Janet & Johns. The best beaches are at CM, however.

Menorca is a lovely family island but I really like Cala d'or on the east coast of Majorca. Perfect for families with lovely sandy coves, lots of child friendly play parks with a bar attached. The ex Leicester centre half Walsh has a bar there with a play area. Loads of great resteraunts, and a free open air family entertainment bar in the centre. You need to be northside of the marina. Its very child friendly and safe, no gangs of drunkards.

Have you thought about the Dominican Republic? Wife and I have been twice to Punta Cana. There are a number of very nice family resorts right on the beach. Many/most are all inclusive, food, drinks, booze.

It has become a pretty popular destination for people from all over. The last time we went we ran into a number of couples from England and Ireland. There were also a good number of Germans and Italians. From talking to the locals, the Russians love it there but most keep to themselves at a Russians-centric resort it seems.

I don't think they have any direct flights from Manchester but I know they have nonstop flights to and from London from the Punta Cana airport.
Pretty sure Thomsons fly from Manchester
