Holidays 2015, where you going?

Majorca. Specifically Port de Soller in the north of the island in July.

Love the place, loads of fantastic restaurants and an amazing little beach for the kids.

Mrs has booked a 'surprise' holiday in May for a week for my 30th, no idea where were going!

Stag do to Ibiza in June and I think 10 days in Lanzarote in September

Sailing in the North Ionian in July.
Will also have a week in April and something in September but not got round to planning them yet.

Private sector.
Cushy job
Decent wage

;-)

New Caledonia or Fiji depending in how lazy we are feeling and if we want to move around or stay in one place!

nowhere, don't do holidays - travel enough with the work, time at home with the kids is more than good enough

But does your wife and kids get the opportunity of getting away, without you ?

My 5 year old is now living in his 3rd different country so has seen enough of the world for someone so young, the 2 year old and the 5 month old couldn't care less so long as they have everyone together so travelling around is not really a priority. My wife and I would prefer to spend the money on a nice house, take the kids out and about on day trips rather than away somewhere - plus we both detest beach holidays.

Travelling for work is just get up in the middle of the night, sit in a taxi, sit in an airport, sit on a plane and repeat, it's not getting away and the thought of doing it when I have a choice is just abhorrent to be honest.
