Holidays

I thought it was one of the cheaper places to go? Is it expensive?
It's very expensive, Numerous fun fairs for kids near the hotel we stayed at went to a few and turned out they are in and around the same price. The staff in one particular fair had absolutely zero English so we just had to point at stuff the kids wanted to go on and paid the money.
We gave the lady €20 for the kids to go on the trampolines...Turns out they were only allowed on it for 6 minutes. The rock climbing was €30 for 10 minutes ect
We ate out a number of times because the food in the hotel was shit, We all got a main meal x2 Beef dinners x1 kids beef dinner and x1 chicken nuggets with chips, x2 wines x2 Estrella x2 Cokes they gave us the bill and it was €98. The shops as in ALL the shops food wise for sweets for the kids was near €3 for a small bottle of Coke, Crisps again Lays was €2.90 Milka bars €1.90...
Monday night I went the supermarket across the road the exact items I got was x1 Milky Way x1 packet of Crisps x1 Snickers x1 Mars x1 Bottle of Listerine x1 Kinder Egg it cost me €19.90.

We did find a few food places reasonable one in particular called Uncle Sams the food was very good and price wise very good but over all it was very expensive.

Just sat in T1 waiting for my flight to Kefalonia
Early start, being at the match last night hasn’t helped
Gonna miss Wolves sat. The second best place to watch a game is sat in the sunshine

Loads of Dortmund fans here too.
I’ll return the favour in October
Macc, if you know of a place showing the game Saturday met me know bud, I'll try and be in the area...

Sounds it!

In fuengirola at the moment, just having a quiet nap when 2 loud mouth cockney wankers who are next door come down the hallway pissed up go in their room and start doing the worst karaoke version of simple minds. Make things worse they’ve got a Liverpool towel draped over the balcony , that’s going off the seventh floor : )

Has anyone here been to Lanzarote recently?

Just wondering what it's like price wise regarding food and drinks in particular along with stuff to do with kids.

Thanks

Depends where you go. PDC is still cheap as chips for food and drink. We were there last Xmas & new year, will be back in November for the work cup opening week. Plenty to do for the kids with inflatables in the sea trampolines pool tables etc

Playa Blanca I’ve always found very expensive in comparison with Teguise somewhere in the middle of the two

Ah deadly stuff. Must look up PDC to see what's on offer, Looking to book somewhere for next summer.

Cheers for the heads up.

Sounds like heaven! I'm only back from holiday back to reality unfortunately...You time feel the time going so make the most of it and enjoy everyday whilst you can. Hope you've a good one! Enjoy.
Cheers Mate, just gonna head out soon for a few jars and then something to eat,Portugal is absolutely cheap compared to parts of Spain think it was you who was in Salou who was mentioning the price of everything being far more than what’s the norm ..

Yeah I was paying 3e for a bottle of Coke and near 3e for a packet of Crisps :) Prices of food to eat out was ridiculous too. Glad Portugal is better must get some feedback off you when you return just to keep my options open to where I'm going next year.

Have been to Venice a few times and liked it.
Thinking if going to that area for a week or more.
Has anyone been to Lido de Jesolo and would they recommend it?
