Got to find another City pub, if one exists!

In the old town. Drop down the hill past the drunken monkey turn left into a small square, 4/5 bars in there. Melting Pot next door the blokes who owns that is a Scottish blueI’ve not come across that one. Where is it?
The missus and I just had a self organised 3 week trip there in September, 7 days in Tokyo, 3 in Okinawa, 3 in Beppu and the rest in Hiroshima, Kanazawa and Kaga including stays at onsen hotels, city hotels, ryokan and private apartments with direct JAL flights for less than £6k. No doubt Japan can be eye wateringly expensive but doesn’t need to be if you can do as the locals. We used booking dot com first 5 nights in Tokyo apartment for £300, the hotel Amenek in Beppu had a residents drinks package 1000 yen (£5) for a serve yourself free for all between 2 - 10pm!!Definitely on my. Ust do lists, y daughter wants to go, will be the trip of a lifetime for the two of us, the wife can stay at home with the dogs. Need around £6k for 10 days I reckon.
puero del carmen isn't a bad shout magaluf/palma nova not sure where one starts and the other begins but you can still find somewhere for the oldiesObviously risky this I know but I thought I would throw myself at the mercy of the bluemoon forum for suggestions for possible summer holiday destinations. We are struggling a bit as we seemingly need 2 quite conflicting things. We have 2 kids who are both in their late teens and have said they would stìll come with us if we go somewhere a bit lively where they can go out and party. That's fine but by the same token, me and the missus don't want to be in the middle of somewhere like Kavos or Las Americas! We want somewhere with a few nice restaurants/a decent hotel etc.
Somebody has suggested Palma Nova as thats the next bay up from Magaluf so close enough for them to go out there but seperate enough to be an option for us. Wondered if anyone had been there before and could confirm/deny that as a possibility, or alternatively, offer any other suggestions. Another restriction is that the wife doesn't like flying, so that rules out anything too long haul.
Save yourself several thousands, leave the kids at home and go wherever you like.Obviously risky this I know but I thought I would throw myself at the mercy of the bluemoon forum for suggestions for possible summer holiday destinations. The old town isn’t exactly quiet, we’ve been in April and October and it was pretty livelyAlbufeira, you and Mrs in old town, leave kids to party time on the strip, win win for all that should be.
