Holy Island

I went there about six years ago and planned everything around the tide schedules to ensure I didn’t end up needing rescuing. I was surprised that the water was still quite high when crossing the causeway and even more surprised when I got to the car park at the other end to realise I had got my weeks mixed up and had crossed after the recommended time. Ended up having to wait three hours at the other side coming back.

Nice place though.

It’s a nice bit of coastline around there all the way from Alnmouth, up through Bamburgh to Berwick upon Tweed.

Yup. Driving the kids to school in their PJ's n then digging the car out whilst mooning the world. Great ey;)
