We were up here for the Chelsea match weekend, had trip to Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Beautiful part of the country and lovely coastline!
Good tracks. Goswick is probably the most underrated course on that coastline, imo it’s better than most in East Lothian while being a fraction of the green fee further north.Playing Goswick, Dunstanburgh and Dunbar then Roxburghe in Kelso and Luffness.
Reàlly looking forward to it, I've played a lot of the East Lothian course cos I live in Scotland but the prices have become daftGood tracks. Not heard that word for about 50 years!seemingly,
the current vernacular among the youth of today in manchester is prannock.
you should see some of the prannocks over here in the winter.
Exactly! Don’t even need a padlock! Just lower a barrier at one time, raise it at another. None shall pass. Go around the barrier, pay for the rescue! Put a camera on the pole and NPR takes care of the charges. If you’re walking, take your water wings!!Why can't they put a gate at each end with a padlock on it that is closed at certain times of the day?
spent some time in Amble a few weeks ago. Its a great part of the country. It’s a nice bit of coastline around there all the way from Alnmouth, up through Bamburgh to Berwick upon Tweed.
is that right? I used to be a member at Winterfield, Dunbar, the municipal course. It cost me about £60 per season and also covered Haddington and the 9 hole at Gifford. I should imagine its a little more expensive these days. Pretty little course and the greens were absolutely immaculate.Reàlly looking forward to it, I've played a lot of the East Lothian course cos I live in Scotland but the prices have become daft
Used to love Gullane 2&3 for reasonable priced golf but they're daft now.
According to the website it is now £140 to join the club and £376 for a season ticket for Winter field.is that right? I used to be a member at Winterfield, Dunbar, the municipal course. Northumberland, and especially that coastline is just about my favourite place in the world. Spectacular scenery, seafood and lots of happy memories. We were up here for the Chelsea match weekend, had trip to Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Beautiful part of the country and lovely coastline!
