I'm not fussed when we play em but we all know it will be when its most advantageous for them.

I can only see a midweek derby. There aren't any free Saturdays after the scheduled derby.Can't see GMP being happy with a midweek derby.
Can't see Rags happy playing us after a cup final either
= Game played weekend when it suits the Rags
I think the free FA Cup saturdays are only up until the 5th round.

As far as I'm aware, our home derby is still this Saturday at 12:30.
Can you remember what happened last season when we had a match moved for the EFL cup final?
We already had a game scheduled the following midweek at anfield, so the postponed game at Newcastle was fitted in on 19th April.
Last season was a week shorter than usual because of the Euros which meant that there was only the one "spare" midweek. I'm assuming there will be an extra one this season.
If both clubs exit the FA Cup very early on there will be a couple of weekend slots available. If one or both clubs reaches the semi finals, a couple of other games will also have to be re-arranged.

why not the last one was, the 3-0 and 2-1 wins at their gaff was as was the vinnie 1-0 game
Because Rags normally get their own way and they wont want to face us following a Cup Final

In an ideal world, we would win it the week before so they have to give us the traditional clap the champions onto the pitch pre kick off.Last midweek home match of the season to see us lift the title would be great thanks.

We've had fuck loads of midweek derbies in recent years. There's a minuscule chance we both go out of the FA Cup before the 5th round. If either team makes it to the 5th round then GMP won't have a say.

Yep. It's why I was pleased to wake up this morning and see they'd won.Would be a bonus if the game was played midweek after the cup final. I can't see any valid reason for it not being on that date, tbh.
Would make the reserves defeat to them all the more worthwhile. Saved four games, three midweeks and a ten day rest before the home Derby.
It'd be like a little late winter break.
