Home Derby to change date?

Do the ****s give us a guard of honour if we've already won it? Hopefully we'll be in a position to sing ' you've seen the champions, now fuck off home'.

Does anyone know if it's the usual for them to move that PL game back three days to the midweek after or are they likely to wait as long as possible to try and make it a huge game at the end of the season?
Why would it be a huge game at the end of the season?

It's going to be the Monday before our Champions League game on the Tuesday once they are out of the Europa League. Plus our prior league game will be the 4pm on the Sunday. 3 in 3 days and Fernandinho to play all 3.
Saves us having to wash the lazy c***s kit

When it was the other way around City had to play 2 games in 2 days.

We could have a champions league round of 16 game that week though and even if we're the week before instead Sky/BT will get arsey about not being able to televise a derby.

I meant 1986 the AA own goal 2-2 and the 4-5 the day after in the cup final. United refused to move their home league game with us, which was acceptable at the time.

They'll move it towards the end of the season as they did in 2012 so they can celebrate us losing the title with a defeat to the rags.

Oh, hang on...

Nah, nah nah, nah-nah-nah-nah, nah-nah-nah-nah, City! (repeat for about half an hour as the ground slowly empties)

Would be a bonus if the game was played midweek after the cup final. I can't see any valid reason for it not being on that date, tbh.
Agreed. Hotel is already booked (with free cancellation clause) and is half the price it will be once this is announced.
Having said that, the ideal situation is still for Hull to lift the cup ;-)
