Home Fans Leaving Early

This thread again.

Let people leave when they want and don't question them. They pay their money, they stay for as long as they like and then leave. Sometimes they miss goals, sometimes they miss a short period of play where there's just a few square passes to close the game out.

It does not mean they aren't loyal to the club or shit fans, they just don't want to sit in traffic. Simple as.

I tell you something I personally don't leave early but if you park your car in the clubs carpark it takes fucking forever to get out if you don't leave 5-10 mins early, the club needs to sought it out.

Or they need a piss...

Why people who don`t want to be stuck in traffic or don`t like drums, standing etc. do not watch their games in tv? It`s cheaper. more comfortable, warmer, there are replays, it`s quiet around and the toilet is just around the corner.

This again, how come this thread doesn't a sticky it's never off.
Minimum a sinking ship.

The people that start these threads never leave early, the people that reply never leave early what's the point.

Why does it bother you that people have their own minds to do what they want.

If you think staying to click the floodlights off makes you a better fan than the early leavers then you've won you're the best fan in the world.

Last game of last season v QPR. Couple in front of us left on 85 mins. Asked the others sat around us who said they always leave at that time every home game. But who would leave at that time in such an important match? Especially when you would miss out on seeing your team lift the premiership trophy.

Nowt new about people leaving early. For the last few seasons at Maine Road my wheelchair user friend and I were stuck at the front of the Platt Lane stand. People started leaving about 10 minutes before the end and were a bloody nuisance by their blocking of our view.

Now they don't get in the way but I've never really understood why so many leave early. They can't all be going to work out have something else that's urgent but each to their own and you pays your money and takes your choice.

I leave my seat on 82 Every week regardless of the score. However, we don't leave the ground, i have a massive fatty and an old fella tp my left and two fatties with three little kids to our right, so we are literally the LAST to exit our row at the end. We just leave our row and stand on the two empties on the aisle that are three rows from the back....

I also am of the mind that you pay for your tickets so can leave when you fucking want....

Better than those who pay for their ticket and don't even turn up! Not as widespread as last season (probably due to Viagogo ticket exchange) but still an incredible amount like the two in front of me. Why even bother getting a ST if you're going to turn up for a handful of games? It just deprives other supporters who would go to every game.
so if i take a couple of holidays through the season and miss a few games because of it i should give up my season ticket?

I am talking about the people who hardly turn up, not the people who miss a couple of games. Last season I never even got to know the person next door book one to me, he or she didn't turn up for a single game.

Last season the two seats in front of me were empty until we played Liverpool at home ........ Turns out that the old dear had bought her husband the season tickets in July and gave them to him as a Christmas present ;)

pretty certain if the club sorted the shit car parking situation out, that a few more would stay in their seats until the end

My season ticket is on the aisle, near the exit. People standing just next to and in front of me, watching the game before they're going out. If you want to stay and watch the match, stay in your seat, don't block my view. If you want to leave, just go.

cant understand home fans going down to there seat after kick off as started cos they want to finish there beer, cant understand home fans going up for a beer, food on 38-40 mins, cant understand home fans that come back down for 2nd half well sfter kick off as started. Its all exactly the same but people always feel the need to moan about people leaving early. No i dont leave early but neither do i moan about it all the time, its every fans own choice to do what they want

But who is better?

1. The fan who sings his throat hoarse but leaves 2 minutes early

2. The fan who is mute all game but stays til the end?

That should get the atmosphere/must stay til the end people discussing.
