Home Fans Leaving Early

they are not leaving late.....just getting in the ferking queue early to make sure they get a beer at next game....it is still shocking at half time the service we get....

my mate left early....had to get into work...some people have no choice, not going to point the finger or judge.

the lad who sits in front of us, a great lad, comes up from london for most games....spends his money....but he left early at the QPR game....he was gutted......now at every game I tap him on shoulder after 20 mins and ask him when he is ferking off home!! :)

Don't leave early but can see why some do. Car parks and surrounding roads were mental yesterday, match finished just after 2.30, and I got back to Swinton at 4pm.

I also live in Swinton and can't see why anybody would want to rush back here.

Alex, Come and live in Eccles it's great here!!

Had one of your cakes this morning, Hmmmm I could be tempted.

Me and other Swinton Blues should be grateful for small mercies. I went to Stockport once when it was open, I'm told some people live there.

I'm loving the reasons why people are "allowed" to leave early.

Read this you bunch of moaning fuckers.

I leave nearly every game early. Not for work. Not cos I've got kids. Because I wanna get back to the boozer before everyone else and it takes 10 minutes to get to town after 88 minutes and about half an hour after 90 minutes.

Something's are more important than watching every minute of a football game. Like drinking more beer. I pay my £275 and will come late and go early as often as I fuckin like.

Thank you.

How many times does this have to be aired? Some people stay to the end, some don't. So what? We all pay, we all support the club. Some of us may have valid reasons for leaving early, arriving late, or, even making supporting City a lower priority than other commitments and family. Get a life!

Sorry mate I left with my boy to get back for my daughters birthday party in Skipton at 3.45pm. I must be a really crap fan, don't let the fact that I have had a season ticket for nearly 30 years impact on your righteous judgemental nonsense.!!

Leave on 86 get home in 25 mins, leave after full time, 1 hour 30 mins! I'll stay if I feel something will happen! Just too long to wait for the sake of a few mins? Especially if we're 3-0 up!

People have the right /choice to leave early and it seems there are many reasons fans do so. However after donkeys years of watching shit i enjoy every moment of watching this team and like to applaud them off at the end. I park in the north car park and it took me half an hour from opening the car door to passing the gas works 100 yards away. Joke, sort it out City. Dont understand why fans leave if its just to get to the bar earlier, but those with travel probs granted. One thing that was surprising yesterday was when the players came out there was only half the crowd in. Took a good ten mins after k.o. to fill up. Was there are problem outside? Looked crap anyway and hardly a greeting for the Champ16ns.

Is it like going to Chernob...I mean, Swinton precinct?

I wish I'd left early on Sat as the road at the side of cinnabar was stopped dead and I still don't know why. (I turned around)

It's obviously a logistical problem. I don't recall the same volume of people leaving early when we were at Maine Road, despite the fact sitting in traffic on Claremont Road could be a nightmare at times.

Not having a go at any one BUT
Sorry but I really don't understand why people leave early, maybe on a night game if you have kids in tow, but on a Saturday with a 1245am kickoff.
I know you pay your money and its your choice but it looks awful. Do the same people leave the cinema early or a show/concert??
I am sure that some of them have a good reason but not all.
We may sing that we fight to the end but we don't stay to the end!!!!!!
Lights the blue touch paper and stands back.

You've asked the question and then answered it. People are free to do what they want.

One big problem about staying until the end, is the police stop all the traffic, and nothing moves until all the away fans coaches are away, and for about 20 minutes after as well.

I stay to the end as I want to extract every minute of value from my season ticket!!

I find it amazing especially as so many goals are scored late in the game at the Etihad. Understandable I suppose with restless kids but some head straight to the boozer. However although I dont understand it, once you have paid your money you are entitled to behave how you see fit.

Bet some folk didn't see the first and last goals on Saturday!

"I stay to the end, I stay to the ennnnnnnd"
"No matter what score it is. I stay til the end"
Always have & always will, to applaud our Blue Shirted Heros off the pitch @ the end :)

Looks awful like many have already said but it is down to each individual I suppose! All have their own reason @the end of the day! CTID
