I think this will be a drubbing!

It's the only shirt starting from the red & black squares right up to the Kappa amber that I didn't have. My Dad took me to Salford precinct the week after the 5-1 derby to get me a shirt for my birthday. I fell in love with the maroon and white stripes and got that instead of the home. Never managed to save up and buy one after that.

Used to buy them religiously with my paper round money. Bizarelly one of my favourite ones ever was the purple with white stripes and brother in yellow!

'89 shirt. For a start it's sky blue. Anyone picking the "laser blue" one should have a long hard look at themselves.

I'm not a habitual purchaser of replica kits, but I actually still have the '89 one in my draw back at my mum and dad's, although last time I tried it on it had strangely shrunk quite considerably.

Haha! This was one of my favourites as well. To the point where I ordered one from classicfootballshirts for my birthday a few years ago. It was only when I saw people's faces when I wore it that I realised it might not be as beautiful as I remembered it.
