It’s ridiculous I’m doing French with an 8 year old I didn’t do that until I was 12, good job I remember a bit. We are quite lucky in that I’m off during the day a bit so can give her my full attention whilst the wife works from home, I really feel for those that don’t have that luxury, plus mine seems quite to like learning I kniw some kids can be a nightmareMy 9 year old was doing "fronted adverbials" today amongst lots of other unnecessarily advanced bumf.
The level they are expected to work to nowadays is definitely higher than what we were doing at that age in the 80s.
