Honeymoon - Egypt or Tenerife

I'm getting married later in the year and me and the wife to be cant agree on a destination for our honeymoon.
I want to go to Tenerife and she wants to go to Egypt. We get married in November so we have a fair bit of time to book something.
So come on fellow bluemooners you decide for us,Tenerife or Egypt

What's your budget and how long do you intend to be away for?

Our anniversary is the 2nd week of december. I always organise a long weekend, to the same place in tenerife every year, for just the two of us. The weather is great and we always laugh our way through the whole time.

Tenerife for me every time.

Budget of around £800.00 each for 2 weeks

Neither are really places I'd class as honeymoon destinations. You will probably be able to get 2 weeks all inc in the carribean for a similar amount.

Egypt is truly horrible mate, for that type of budget get yourself out to cuba

The reason we chose these two are that we get married in Nov and we dont want a long haul holiday. To be fairly certain of getting sunny weather within a 4-5hrs flying time we chose these two places

If that link is Moon Palace, Cancun, my mate's just got back from a romantic break with his girl and said it was an awesome hotel.

Cancun itself is beautiful, if you can avoid American college holidays.
