Like the lads at the Martial Arts centre on deansgate I trained with....hard as fuck black and white lads from Moss Side, C on M, Longsight etc...all did the doors in town. Most still around but a bit older. Some still fit as fuck.Spot on. Every game you went to home and away you had to have your wits about you. It's alright people saying you could avoid it but that wasn't always the case. Even at home you only had to turn the wrong corner and bump into an away firm and it was fight or flight whether you wanted to or not. All the firm's only fought other firms shit was bollocks. I saw the Millwall escort that day coming towards Maine Road from town, we were stopped by police walking from the Claremont and had to wait on other side of the road while the escort went past, there was also the police helicopter overhead, biggest mob of hooligans I've seen at Maine road. Let's just say if they were not contained well by the police that day things could of got a lot worse than they already were. Also Leeds away was always tricky on the train, was ok going to the ground, ok in the ground but a knightmare getting back to the train station after the game. City always melted away, no escort and you were left hoping you never got picked off while mingling with Leeds fans walking back to the train station, oh and if you were a bit late the special fucked off and you were left to run the guantlet again with the cunts all the way to Huddersfield.Weird video indeed.
