Horrific Injury at Stoke (Shawcross on Ramsey) {merged}

Re: Horrific Injury at Stoke

1. Tony Pulis needs to take a large part of this, its him who sets his team up the way he does, to bend the rules as much as possible in a physical sense, Stoke leave their feet in challenges all the time, use thier arms in challenges where they shouldn't and try and intimidate thier opponents.

2. Peter Walton needs sacking. Now. He failed to control the game at CoMS versus Liverpool last week, he failed to protect the players in that game (Kompany with an over the top challenge and most noticably, mascherano numerous times). His failure to officiate accurately and his failure to adequately control the game means when he's in charge this kind of career threatening incident is heightened. He's the most incompetent of an inept bunch. Get rid.

Re: Horrific Injury at Stoke

Shawcross just about sums up Stoke ie a thug and a cheat

let's see what the FA do?

he'll probably just get a 3 game ban ( 1 less than Adebayor) which just about sums the FA up?

What did Shawcross do against us worthy of a sending off? It was Huth who did the elbow, and the amateur dramatics should've earnt him a booking.

The lower half of his leg was bent at a sickening angle, indicating a broken fibula and tibia at a minimum.

It looked completely accidental and Shawcross was distraught and in tears. Yes, Stoke are a blight on the game, but file this one under "unfortunate accident."
