Horrific Injury at Stoke (Shawcross on Ramsey) {merged}

I dont think there was any intention at all to Harm the Lad .Ramsey was just to quick & when Shawcross went to kick the ball it was not there anymore

having had a sleep and thought about the challenge i dont think shawcross meant to snap ramsey's leg in half. but i do think he went in to hurt him. you dont throw yourself into a challenge like that in the middle of the pitch without trying to 'show them your there'.

he went in to win the ball but to take ramsey aswell to remind him that he is there and thats what you get if you come near me.

its all down to pulis because he makes them play with these horrible discusting tactics and it was only a matter of time before something like this happened to an opponent of whoever stoke were playing.

Spot on about Pulis. Evil little prick. He makes Golum look attractive.

Peter Reid
Allan Ball
Joe Royle
Stuart Pearce
Mark Hughes

Just 5 aggressive Man City managers i can think of who would all have made loads of tackles like that in their career so if we're going to do ridiculous generalisations why don't you stick to doing dishes love.

Talking of ridiculous generalisations isnt talking about how a manager played during their playing career influencing the way they say their teams out to play exactly the same thing

Yes which was the point i was making about Pam's comment but if you think any of those names mentioned would have gone ballistic with any of their players who made a tackle like the one we saw yesterday then you're kidding yourself. Stuart Pearce especially made a career out of going in as hard as possible into every tackle. Does that make him an "evil prick" or just a very competitive and aggresive footballer? I think we both know the answer to that one. I'm not sure Pam has the capability to figure it out though so feel free to help her along.

when Arsenal played us didn't they have loads of bookings for very bad fouls?

Yea but with Arsenal, imo, its always more snide little petulant fouls than leg breakers though

you know what i remember that foul and didnt realise it was shawcross until today. not looked through this thread but he apparently broke francis jeffers' leg as well couple of years back.

this twat has form, and while he didnt mean to break ramsey's leg yesterday, he meant to hurt him alright.

i'm sick of hearing all this shit in the media today "oh he's a good lad, he didnt mean it". well the form proves otherwise. hes either a dirty cnut who wants banning or he's a shit defender cos he can't time a tackle to save his life.

p.s. don't forget this twat got ade sent off by feigning a smack in the face when he got hit in the chest.
