Hospitality revenue.

In 2010 (yes, 2010) I went to White Hart Lane with a Spurs supporting friend to watch them v City. I think it was Silva's debut (wasn't impressed :)). He had bought the tickets (nice seats) and when I asked how much, he said £80. So I handed over £40. He said no, £80 each. That might help to explain things.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but I have just read this by Martin Samuel in today's Mail.

" Tottenham are believed to be making £800,000 from hospitality, food and drink at their new stadium — and that's just before kick-off. By way of comparison, on a good day, takings at Manchester City are in the region of £150,000. In time, this will tell. "

Surely this can't be correct? How can they make so much extra revenue?
It’s probably not wrong. For example the legends lounge is completely shut on a CL nightfor group games as there isn’t enough interest to open it. It’s the old night games adage again.
