I'm afraid that Trying gets cheesier and cheesier and cornier and cornier. Gave up at beginning of season 3. Bad sisters is v good.
TV is very very poor. When its a toss up between England vs Italy and Strictly come dancing, things are v bad.

Yeah it’s hard to find decent stuff that you’d both watch.
I said Dark Crow was good. What I meant was Black Bird. (Memory is getting bad) Yes Black Bird was very good.
Watching Bad Sisters is gas in our house. We spend the time saying, ‘that’s Malahide’, ‘that’s Sutton’, the estuary, the forty-foot, Bull Island, Clontarf Prom, etc etc and then obsessing over the places we don’t recognise.
What’s great is rather than the usual under belly of Dublin that we see on screen it’s showing the more affluent and salubrious, and dare I say Pretty side of things.

Overall, I’m disappointed. The story really hasn’t engaged me in the way I had hoped. I really don’t care about any of the characters, all of them are pretty unsympathetic. C-.

Feeling pretty similar. By focusing on only a few different plot lines and characters, it’s got to do them brilliantly and I don’t think they’ve done the progression of any of them particularly well.

I’m still enjoying it for the spectacle and I think the acting is very very good in parts. Just finding a lot of it very predictable and simplistic.
