A brilliant series. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more about the dragons going forward. Really interesting history.
Balerion is the largest "tamed" dragon. Is that the biggest dragon or is there bigger?
That was how childbirth was then , bloody and life or death , it absolutely has a part to play in the seriesVery good storytelling. After a slightly slow start I thought it developed the characters really well. Some excellent acting too, particularly from Paddy Consadine and Matt Smith.
If I have a gripe it was instead of gratuitous sex scenes there were two gratuitous, graphic and shocking birth scenes that added very little to the story.
Really looking forward to the next series.
No argument there Kaz. I think the fact that it was twice in graphic detail I thought was a little OTT and unnecessary. Having been at the birth of my three it’s not like I’m particularly squeamish either. That was how childbirth was then , bloody and life or death , it absolutely has a part to play in the series
Maybe the writers thought it was in keeping with the whole violence thing if you see what i meanNo argument there Kaz. Both were Important to the story telling and the themes, of how she will be undermined and usurped by those men who see the princesses as there to provide heirs and not rule.Very good storytelling.
