I’d disagree on the squad player comment. Almost all of our players are squad players as we play 60 odd games a season, so I don’t think any of them will be ‘bench players’.I think we were too stacked last season, and Aouar is too good to be a squad/bench player.
Still, other than maybe one person on this forum, not a single journo said this is on. Pep and KDB praised him but it doesn’t mean anything.
That being said I do think we would need more energy than what Gundogan brings to the team, but I just can’t see him leave.
Yes & it doesn't mean every player has to be Leroy Sané, just an improvement on our recent weaker half.
5 players come in who are just half a yard quicker, it's a lot of difference if all added together on the pitch.
We've had DS, plus Fern, the G, Rodri, Zinchenko, Ottamendi, Angelino, half fit Stones & Mendy & brought in Garcia!
I even think KDB also blows hot & cold without the ball, sonetimes he's lightning sometimes he isn't there, so we had, imo, more than half a team who could go missing vs an athletic opponent.

For a pressing side, there is obviously enormous room for improvement there.
I'm sure Pep feels it. I'm sure he like more pressing from his side but has not demanded it because of physical / athletic limitations in his squad.
If it doesn't happen, people need to come out and admit that they have bullshitted for clout and attention.
I am going to go with my instinct and i am calling bullshit on this transfer.
There seems to be a buzz about this transfer, but there hasn't been any credible links. I know some people have said the deal is already done, but it must be the best kept secret in the world if it has already been done. Surely there would be some leaks from inside the club on either side.
If we don't sign him or was never interested in the player in the first place, then the people who have talked this transfer up need to be held accountable. Why would anyone lie just for a bit of clout or attention?
