How are we all feeling about our club today?

Yes. It was leaked in January and 442 magazine reported it along with others. Are people really naive enough to think we were not at the top table then and just decoded to dive in after a few pints last Friday night?
It seems to be quite widely accepted we and Chelsea were dubious and only decided over the weekend to put our name to it after ultimatums, the fact the chair and vice chairs were from other clubs makes it fairly obvious we weren’t a driver of it. So not naive at all.

I can't agree that we (the owner/club) were instrumental in bringing it down, by the time we announced our withdrawal the project was already dead in the water and that was down to everyone from fans to the government not Manchester City. We maybe deserve some credit for being the first to "leave" but not much.
It wasn't the fans mate, it was fifa saying players would be banned from the world cup and the Premiership talk of expelling City from the league....players kicked off, pep kicked off.....the fans fury was the last thing the owners took in to account.

Luckily they pulled out without to much harm being done to the league, however it has reminded the league just how vulnerable it is without the top teams.

are we going to open a how are you feeling thread on Thursday then Friday, its finnished put it to bed and lets do whats best cheer our lads on starting tonight

They were stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they said no from the start and the ESL took off, we could of been left behind financially.

This was a little blot on the landscape. When the dust settles we will all be laughing about it in a few months time.

that’s Nonsense. We could have done the right thing and not joined in the first place.

we didn’t have a gun held to our head and if it was so vital, why would we leave so easily after 24 hours?

‘left behind financially’ ie we care more about money then football or the fans

It honestly feels like a bad dream now. I was incensed that people were trying to ruin OUR game and making it as far removed as possible from what makes it great.
I never once thought City were amongst the instigators and I'm just bloody relieved, and so glad, that we saw sense early doors. Whatever the reason.
Didn't get to sleep until 230am Monday and then 3am ish this morning. My head was spinning with it all, truly.
You'd better never pull a stunt like that again City, or we may fall out.

I'm relieved, that this nonsence as been fxxked off to pasture. But,it wasn't long ago that UEFA tried to ban us from playing in the CL.It's no surprise, they have no loyalty to the corrupt cxxts.

Can't agree. Us leaving (and Chelsea) seems to have had the effect of the house of cards coming down. Maybe we will never know for sure whether everyone lost their bottle and we were just first to pull out, but more likely (it seems to me) is that the project wasn't viable without us - which is why they eventually asked us to join - and ceased to be viable once we decided we were out.
