Really difficult decision as I think the club has distanced itself from match going fans .Then there s the VAR shambles on top.
Win the CL this season and Im 99 % convinced I’d be done . Don’t win it and Id still have a decision to make.
I just think of all the fun I could have in the match day thread .

Season ticket since 1983 and the first time ever I'm considering not renewing. All down to VAR I'm afraid. That thing has done what Ball, Clarke and Pearce couldn't do. There will have to be some changes announced about how it will work going forward for me to continue.
I’m 51 season ticket since 1987 through all the shit years. VAR has totally ruined the match day for me. Add all the stupid kick off times and I’m done after this season. Weirdly I don’t mind VAR when watching on TV it adds to the viewing experience but live it completely kills the joy of being there. So why should I pay £700 to not enjoy the match.

Season ticket since 1977 and there have been many years when for good (or bad) reasons I should not have renewed. However I have always done so and this year will be no different. Son, friend and I will renew because despite VAR and Liverpool about to win the title, we are still watching the best football team I can recall and playing some unbelievable stuff. Am I frustrated at times, yes, do I think we should be closer to Liverpool, yes, but we are still a joy to watch and we will be there next season. Keep the faith all and see you next match...and next season.
I will probably renew but I must admit I don’t enjoy it as much as I used to. VAR is part of it but for me it’s the kick off times of 5.30 and other crappy times that do my head it and make it much less enjoyable for me personally . Not also sure what we can do about the atmosphere. Some times the stadium is absolutely rocking and intimidating but yesterday there were times of almost silence

City has been my life since my first game in 1956. Vienna, Swindon, Newcastle seen them all. Twelve seasons ago I bought two season cards at the Etihad for my son and daughter and I attended on a match day basis. After one season my son moved away and I continued myself to then use his ticket which ensured my daughter could still attend and all direct debits came from my account. (You may argue that this was wrong). Six seasons ago I reached 65 and asked the club if they would put the card in my name thus reducing the price. They said no as their were thousands on the waiting list and I continued to pay full price. In fairness I understood the club's position. I asked again last year they said no but this season 4 season card holders directly sat around me did not renew and those seats haven't been passed on to the waiting list they are occupied by different match day tourists each game and paying match day prices. Does this explain why there was such a short window for season cards at the end of last season. Heavy heart makes me feel that they don't want us and there will be two more seats for the tourists next year. I feel sad and would accept any advice.
