How are we going to line-up this season?

He has always played two wide forwards with pace, hasn't he? Can't see why that would change.

I guess we could see DeBruyne being used as one of them wide forwards with Silva playing the central attacking mid role.

or alternatively,

Aguero playing wide with either Silva or DeBruyne playing as a false 9.

I will be surprised if we don't see something like this at least tried. Pep seems to like trying his striker/goalscorers out in a wide starting position, then come inside.

I think he will use a bigger core of players than he is known for, & of course a try a variety of systems & try players in different positions, as is his usual m.o.

Pretty difficult to predict what his favourite system will end up as though, because he will probably have to spend the first season getting to know his players' capabilities due to the euros & copa.

i expect City to play 3 at the back.
one of Pep's formation at Bayern - midfield diamond, 3-4-3

actually, there is no rigid formation with Pep.
he will be flexible depends what type of player in his disposal.
i'll be glad if City sign Nolito and Sane, as a both short-long term signing.
City are lacking of quality winger with real pace.
KDB, Silva, Nasri, Delph and Dinho are no winger.
unbalance team with too many AM and aging attacking fullback to support wide area.

We should be buying Florenzi from Roma, he was awesome against Spain. He can operate on the right wing or right back. Both sides at full back have needed addressing for two years. Something needs to be done in the next few weeks

He can play well in the midfield aswell. We should be looking at Eder over Nolito and the likes though, guy is brilliant.

All in all I think Pep will go for

Not being that serious. Biggest problem for me is not the quality of the players we have, but how we fit KDB and Silva in the team and yet still have a solid midfield.
