He has always played two wide forwards with pace, hasn't he? Can't see why that would change.
I guess we could see DeBruyne being used as one of them wide forwards with Silva playing the central attacking mid role.
or alternatively,
Aguero playing wide with either Silva or DeBruyne playing as a false 9.
I will be surprised if we don't see something like this at least tried. Pep seems to like trying his striker/goalscorers out in a wide starting position, then come inside.
I think he will use a bigger core of players than he is known for, & of course a try a variety of systems & try players in different positions, as is his usual m.o.
Pretty difficult to predict what his favourite system will end up as though, because he will probably have to spend the first season getting to know his players' capabilities due to the euros & copa.
