How are we going to line-up this season?

The answer to the thread title, I think, is that we will line up differently all the time,depending on who's in form and who we're up against. Pep, unlike Pellegrini, is extremely versatile and I think we'll see at least four or five different formations used this season. I threw together some line-ups I can picture us using:

Hart, Sagna, Kompany, Stones, Clichy, Fernando, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Sané, Iheanacho, Sterling

Hart, Denayer, Kompany, Mangala, Fernando, Fernandinho, Delph, Navas, De Bruyne, Nolito, Aguero

Valdes, Denayer, Stones, Otamendi, Angelino, Fernando, A. García, Navas, Silva, Nolito, Unal (Cup Games)

That's how I think we'll start for the first game of the season. Obviously Kompany and Gundogan injured. Probably won't sign Kroos but we definitely need another world class CM

If it's 3-5-2 with wing backs I think KDB will play off Aguero. He's probably the closest thing to Muller not named Muller. Belgium seems to be learning this as well and our best run coincided with him playing off the striker as well.

If we do more of a 3-4-3 then you see Nolito Sterling Same Etc making more sense. In reality we may deploy both although Brazilian today and Lichtsteiner aside we haven't been linked with many wing back types
