How are you responding to the rags ?

I had a right good chuckle on Wed just after Utd scored thier 3rd. I was at the bar in a pub full of Rags and it won't shock you to learn that I wasn't in Manchester, in fact I was in Birmingham. A couple of so called Utd fans were celebrating the victory next to me so I turned to one of them and asked if he'd be going to Wembley. He looked at me and laughed saying no, as if I'd just asked him if he was going to Afghanistan for his holidays so inconcievable is the prospect. He then had to cheek to ask me why I as a City fan wasn't at Old Trafford, I didn't bother pointing out that there was 65,000 Utd fans at the Swamp and it possibly could have easier for him to get a ticket - not to mention that I went to the home leg.
But what really grinds my gears about this is that some Utd fans have no desire to even try and get a ticket for the final and are so used to thier team getting to finals that the novelty has worn off. If City had got to the final you can bet that every Blue on the planet would be busting a gut to get a ticket and be there to support the team.

That's exactly what you should do....cause it's part true...but mostly, they have no response.

Same here I just say well done you deserved it over the 2 legs. But we shall have our day we've learnt to be patient!!!!!!!!!
 
I've had to ask several why they are singing "Mushroooms, Mushrooooms", one said I should be used to losing by now, to which I responded 'it hurt more when you actually go to matches'.
 
I was hedging my Bets.

I was really giving it to them in the Build up, over and over with one statement. " Taggert is not playing his kids because he knows his time is up and this is his last chance of a Trophy and he has got to get past us yet".

It really sank in and rankled.

After the Game; like most posters on here after the Game I had the Grace and Decency to accept that the better side won over the two Legs.

I then asked them all why Old Trafford had so many Norwich fans attending the Match.
 
Sent him a text about being a glory hunter, a M*****, told him a few home truths and said a few things maybe i shouldn't of in response to his gloating. Ah well! haha
