How are you responding to the rags ?

omg im still getting texts saying 3-1 off one of my mates, who hasnt ever been to a united match, i just responded for the first time saying you won but according to united fans its a mickey mouse cup thats not important but yet you went all out on it and put out a full strength squad. He responded by saying its only because its you. So i said i thought we wernt a threat, awwww are lil city starting to worry you.

Anyone else still getting the texts because to be honest its getting pathetic now.
 
I just laugh at them in a pitying way.

I honestly think that they have cocked up there chance of winning the league, playing camel lip and appealing has cost them at least 6 points possibly more. They will not now catch Chelsea who also have a game in hand.

Little old City may just get to laugh a little more.
 
I'm just saying fair play, enjoy the mickey mouse cup and laughing at them when they say that Liverpool are still their big rivals. Didn't seem like that to me on Weds.
 
Was doing ok until a Utd fan came into my office today and started gloating big time about the result, i'm ashamed to say i couldn't hold back and told him "f*ck off you f*cking w*nker"

Who gives a shit about them. They know we are coming.

Would you rather be where we were 3 years ago and beat them 1-0 or lose and be where we are now.

I find that being gracious is the best way. As others have said, they don't expect it. They probably were the better side over two legs and deserved to go through, but they played their strongest team in a competition they supposedly disdain, to the extent of even getting a key player a longer band so he wasn't suspended last night.

So, after my gracious initial response, reminding them of that fact, together with a polite invitation to look at the respective financial situations of the two clubs and work out who has the better prospects going forward has tended to do the trick. The sensible ones know that this is a stay of execution and nothing more!
