How bothered are you about the FA Cup this season?

Squad can't cope with a title challenge, champions league and the FA cup so considering we're still in the first two then at this stage no I'm not bothered. Things can change though and we may find we get a couple of easy draws and are out of one or both of the title race and champions league when the FA cup suddenly becomes very important! At this stage though if we were to get knocked out by west ham although I'd be very disappointed I could focus on the positives

Depends on the draw for me. If we get some easier draws, yeah I'd like to win it.

But it we have to run ourselves into the ground against other top teams in a few rounds, I'd rather play the kids.

Football to the owners and some fans might be about money to real fans it's about glory, for years that was the F.A. Cup long live the spirit of 81

Just want us to take it seriously again. I'm so sick of this Premier League/Champions league or bust philosophy we seem to have these days. We are not going to win the Champs League this season no matter how good Pep is so if we end up sacrificing the FA cup for that I'll be annoyed.

Six games to win it.
We should take every game as it comes & select the team accordingly. We should have enough options within the squad & with the youngsters to be competitive in most games.
A favourable draw with some good away games would be great..ie West Ham,Blackburn,Forest,West Brom,Saints,Arsenal.
A domestic double is doable and is what the club has to be aiming for if we are to establish ourselves as England's premier club.

How can this even be a thread. The question in itself indicates some are slowly but surely growing to be like our small-minded neighbours living in London.

The first 3 rounds don't even affect league games as they're played on Saturdays and part of the 'league schedule'. After the 5th round (if we've got that far) is the time to start taking stock of whether it may compromise a up coming league game so teams at that point need picking to suit but only then not in the early rounds, get the best 11 out no matter the opposition then make subs accordingly.

As for those saying the league is gone, we only need to close the gap to Chelsea by 4 points before we play them, beat them and we're then level. 2 draws in the next few games and we win ours and that jobs done, it ain't over until the fat lady sings, and i don't hear no fat lady yet......................

We need to go on a run like the renters......then we'll win it.
