Right, I've not been on here too long, but I have noticed that there are some right clever bastards in Off Topic. Some of the posts are layer upon layer of absolute cleverness.

I had my PhD confirmed at the weekend. However, the university tell me that I'm now the proud holder of a doctorate in 'Australian Biophysics' as opposed to what I really did.

I'm not sure how that differs from biophysics anywhere else in the world, and I thought the university might notice that they are attempting to give me a degree which not only they don't give, but doesn't appear to exist anywhere else in the world.

You're telling me. That post was my Bluemoon high point. I knew it was going to be all downhill from there. I can see it now - one day I'll awaken in a bus shelter with no trousers and only 50 pence to my name.
