I saw an interview with Donald Trump recently and he said he was the first American President not to start a war in the last 50 years. I don't know if that is true as I tend to ignore politics.
I have absolutely zero interest in politics.
Perhaps someone could enlighten.

It could well be true; the Americans have invaded an awful lot of countries in the C20th and C21st.
My favourite was the invasion of Anguilla, a tiny Caribbean island. A nutter took over their radio station and declared a revolution. Reagan was alarmed and sent a whole brigade of marines to take it back. Margaret Thatcher was apoplectic and gave Reagan a mouthful. Reagan replied: “Margaret, you are magnificent.”
When all calmed down, the marines left and were replaced by two London coppers.
