The reality is this may be out of our hands, those quotes from Pep in terms of curiosity and new experiences are in keeping with the character he presents.... a total fucking gem and it’s a bloody honour to watch him, however, it just feels like his long term future is nothing to do with his being settled, he’s one of those who has to measure himself in different pressure cookers and although it will be gut wrenching, if he does move on he can never be judged on anything but giving his best...

do anything we can, we want to keep bernard until at least 30. I feel as though when he looks like edging away very little is done from the club to make sure he doesnt leave.

We are fortunate that a lot of the football giants are feeling the financial pinch because of someone had come up with £60m in the summer Bernardo would have been gone and a massive loss , whilst the game struggles financially i don't see Bernardo going anywhere he's on a long contract and it would now cost £100m to get a player anywher near his quality. In general the game is skint and i expect wages and transfer fees to come tumbling for the vast majority of players there are only half a dozen players who would command £100m and Bernardo is one of them on current form. So looking forward to witnessing Berando's silky skills for a few more years , if he doesnt like the climate he can buy a big coat.
