How do we qualify if we and Napoli both finish on 9 pts?

We don't beat Napoli we won't go through in my opinion because beating Bayern at home will be very very very very very very hard but we could do it

If we presume Napoli will beat Villareal.

A win against Napoli will see us qualify
A draw (2 goals or more) against Napoli will see us needing a point in the last game
A draw (1 goal or less) against Napoli will see us needing a win in the last gmae
A loss against Napoli will see us in the Europa.

If two or more teams are equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings (in descending order):[4]
1.higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
2.superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
3.higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question;
4.higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question;
5.If, after applying criteria 1) to 4) to several teams, two teams still have an equal ranking, the criteria 1) to 4) will be reapplied to determine the ranking of these teams;
6.superior goal difference from all group matches played;
7.higher number of goals scored from all group matches played;
8.higher number of coefficient points accumulated by the club in question, as well as its association, over the previous five seasons.

If we can't win one of Napoli away Or bayern home then we don't deserve a place in the knock outs.

I have no doubts we'll do it.

Losing at Napoli would mean the result against Bayern could well be irrelevant.

Neither Napoli or Bayern will falter against Villarreal

If we lose in Napoli it won't matter if we win the other one

I know. My point still stands. I expect atleast a draw if we are to do anything in this competition. If not, fair enough, we concentrate on the prem.

Goal difference, if its the same, then away goals. If that's the same, home goals.

Think you`re wrong there.
Certain it goes on results played against one another first.

He was answering a question about what happened after results against 1 another if they are equal. So he is in fact correct.

Bayern will probably have qualified by the time we play them. That might make a difference in how they approach the game

Too far ahead. All eyes to QPR now

He said if both games were draws.

Therefore it would still go down to head to head away goals as the first decider if total points, head to head points, and head to head goal difference were equal.
