He's going through an unpleasant divorce and sounds like he's on the edge a little (and today's events won't help, after all 'Boris' got it done.
Tried to tell him the use of words like Woke, Metropolitan Elite (and all the other bingo words) were right wing (many undefinable) tropes/terms to flame up fake culture wars. Going off the back of the post on here the other week by Rascal. Metropolitan Elite (he used this about Manchester btw - he lives in the Midlands) was/is an anti-Semitic phrase. But the comeback is "Marxists' and Labour are full of anti-semites. From a life long labour support, thatcher hating guy....and there goes the radicalisation that's so powerful.

Tough this isn't it. We go back forever but I've not the stomach (patience really) for stuff like that.

There was never a plan and Brexit will now tear the Conservatives apart. It is not over, it will go on for years, and the economic pain is just beginning. They’ll now rally round someone like Zahawi but I reckon it’ll be just as short a rule.
