How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Yep. Scuppered our plans to live in a warmer country which wouls benefit the wifes health no end.
Seen many, many retirees having to move back over last 12 months having had their dreams of a life in the sun ruined by brexit. Crying shame, really feel for them.
90 days on and 90 days off just doesn’t work for them with the pensions they are on.

Has there been an impact on property prices?
Are there any bargains or are there plenty of other Europeans keeping the market buoyant?

The market is very buoyant where I am. Some absolute bargains. Being snapped up mostly by the Scandinavians/German and French with a not unexpected rise in Russians. Still a fair few Brits taking the plunge but mainly those with a decent income who are happy to have a second home here rather than live here full time.
The ones affected in the main are those whose fairly small pensions would have still been enough to rent a nice 2/3 bed and leave enough over to live a quality life.
I knew a few whose combined pensions for a couple came in at around £1500 a month yet could enjoy a life that would be impossible with the same income in the U.K.
Like everything in life, it’s those at the lower scale who end up shafted the most.

If it isn't a too personal question, and if it is please just ignore me, what was it from the leave campaign that meant you voted to leave?
I felt too much interference from Brussels rightly or wrongly from what I read in the media, I also from the area I worked in saw the very bad decline brought to that area from immigration of shall we say certain European countries. I’m all for people coming to work but a simple visa system for me would’ve worked (not the shit show we have now) for people we needed, I still think this. I never believed the £350 million fir the nhs.

The utter state of those headlines.
The Express is just a Garden Centre vibe version of the Sun.
Both fucktards.

I know a few people who claim to hate the likes of the Mail but right on cue use the same streamlines at these mo-fos.

"EU Elf & Safety laws" and all that nonsense...
Immediately underneath that story is this one, which just goes to prove that satire is absolutely finished as no alternative reality can match the current state of affairs!!

UK business cut back on investment due to concerns over EU trade

Many UK businesses are planning to cut investments to increase it, according to new research.
A poll conducted by the Institute of Directors surveyed business chiefs and found that half thought economic conditions in the UK were having negative effects on their business.
The research found that Brexit, price rises, trading difficulties and political uncertainty were some of the reasons which had bosses worrying.
20% of bosses said difficulties in the UK’s trading relationship with the EU were their main concern.
The introduction of customs checks, long-delayed times on goods and border queues have also greatly affected exports.
Kitty Ussher, Chief Economist at the Institute of Directors, said: “Perceived risks in the macroeconomy continued to drive the behaviour of business leaders in July, with concerns around inflation, our relationship with the EU and political instability causing investment intentions increasingly to be put on hold,”

I saw that too. Struggled to make sense of the first sentence (highlighted). But that is explainable by the fact it's the Express.
