How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I'm sure quite a few of them thought that any inconveniences coming about due to Brexit, would be minor, and would only affect others rather than themselves.

or actually didn't think at all, but listened to the ERG bullshit delivered by ace bullshitter Boris.

ere's that poll by the way - the original Tweet seems to have been deleted for some reason

And remember that was GBN viewers this is the wider country

This is remarkable! One can only assume they thought their gammon viewers would buck the trend of all the other polls that have Brexit as popular as diarrhea, but no, seems even Pissed Off of Tunbridge Wells thinks Brexit is a crock.

Food prices going up, interest rates going up making people worried about being able to keep a roof over their heads, taxes going up to fix the black while in government spending. No person in the country can escape what’s being inflicted on us.

What many people still seem to underplay is the effect that the infamous red bus had. That 'promise' convinced many that '350 million' extra would go into the NHS. The NHS was already creaking and many of those who voted NO were increasingly reliant on its services, either for themselves or for their aging and ailing relatives. They can now see that the exact opposite has happened. The NHS has been denuded of the staff it so desperately needs (many who were from the EU) and that there just isn't the 'promised' money to keep the service ticking over never mind improve it.

True, but the Right have given them Covid, Putin, Sunak and Hunt as the cause of all our woes.

The fruit loops at GB New even calls our predicament the "lock down recession".

Seems a fair chunk of their viewers aren't buying it.

Any **** who fell for that shit written on the side of the bus is completely beyond help.

I wonder how much is the gammons simply going along the ‘this is not the brexit I voted for’ route, who still think it is a fundamental benefit, but think it is just not being implemented properly.
They have no idea I suppose, that the brexit they thought they voted for never existed.
Bitterness and recriminations all round.
