How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

It has occurred to me, that I despise the fucking Tory party and all the braindead sheep who support them even more than i hate the rags and dippers.

The next generations will be able to survive both sets of redshirts being an irritation, but the other cunts need to be totally obliterated

I don’t even want any commitment to any particular deal. I just can’t understand why they would rule out any SM agreement, or rule out freedom any of movement. 2 things that would solve almost all the issues that brexit has caused, neither would need a referendum neither would require any commitment to rejoin the EU.

I can see it now

Daily Mail...

Freedom of movement is woke speak for uncontrolled immigration.

Everyone in here wants things to move quickly and maybe, given the febrile nature of politics right now, they might, but I very much doubt it.

We're talking years.

The electorate can send the Tories in to the political wilderness, but any attempt by Labour to re-join the EU would revitalise them.
There lies the problem of our entire confrontational, idealogical, antiquated electoral system. The sooner we get rid of that the sooner we can get sensible, pragmatic, governments.

So why run to the mail to rule it out, just say nothing, trouble is I think he might believe his anti immigration / freedom of movement bollocks. Thats worrying.

It might well be, but the political reality is that for a sizeable chunk of the population free movement is a no, no.

And we're not getting that any time soon.
Again that’s down to a lack of leadership, or any politician being brave enough to put the case forward. To be honest I had high hopes for Starmer and the Tory meltdown is a opportunity for him to be brave, he’s failing badly and if anything finally pushes me over the line to vote for Scottish independence given the chance, a line I’ve been close to since Brexit, it will be Labours lack of initiative on Brexit.

Starmer is a lying sack of shit, but he's not stupid.

He needs to change the narrative while seeming not to do so.

His mission statement is to "Make Brexit Work", but he knows that's bollocks. The very statement implies that Brexit is unworkable.

Knowing that he'll set up a working party/commission or some such, maybe with a sprinkling of SNP, Libs and remainer Tories on it. They'll ask for submissions from experts, the public and so on, they'll scratch their heads a bit, then produce a report that says Brexit is unworkable shite and that would open up a national debate leading to the possibility of re-joining.

I now believe they believe it’s in their interest to fuck as much up as possible. Some of the recent pointers on where they wish to take the country are unbelievable. Given purdah in 2025 they only have some 18 months to make decisions to change public opinion before the next election. Make the bed as unpleasant as possible for the next government, fuck Joe public and plan for a triumphant return in the election round after 2025.
I think JRMogs repeal law is of that nature. Basically like pulling the pin on a handgrande and then taking up his seat on the backbenches. Tories know its a disaster but they also know its gospel to the ERG, anything to do with the EU has to be burned. It will be interesting to see how the government deal with it. The smart move would be to kill it ASAP.

Killing JRM would be my preferred option personally .
