How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Russ in Cheshire. Do you hate anyone who exposes the Tories as duplicitous vermin?

But thanks for the reminder. Forgot to put his book on my Christmas list.

Not at all. The Tories expose themselves daily for what they are. Somebody collating their weekly fuck ups into Twitter threads and going on to produce books of the same material to sell to the gullible I have no quibble with. But when he libels someone and his first instinct is to plead poverty to his followers he can get fucked.

Maybe I just despise people profiteering from misery.

I don't know who he's allegedly libelled, but seriously - you despise every Tory and you despise everyone who exposes those Tories? (For any new reader "Russ in Cheshire" produced "The Week in Tory" to highlight the venality, hypocrisy, and sheer nonsense of Tory policy.)

It's called integrity PP - something the Tory cunts will never ever have .

It just keeps on getting better…….

The Government's ministerial cars are to be made outside of the UK following supply chain issues hampered by Brexit. It meant UK car makers were 'unable to meet the requirements' of the Metropolitan Police protection service, it has been revealed.

Armoured Jaguar XJs are to be swapped for Baden-Württemberg-assembled Audi A8s, the Met confirmed over the summer. But now the decision behind it has emerged.

No British car maker is "able to meet the requirements of the tender", which prompted the Met's decision, as reported in The Independent. It is a further blow to the UK car industry as production here hit its lowest level since 1956 after skill shortages and supply chain issues were compounded by Brexit and the pandemic.

In 2016, the UK produced 1.7 million vehicles per year, but since the EU referendum, that number has plummeted to just 786,000.
