And Brexit means more brown people!I take it they realise the government have absolutely failed on the immigration policy?

Its business model collapsed entirely because of Brexit…
Well we don’t house immigrants they usually make their own arrangements before coming. What we do is house asylum seekers and refugees, something we wouldn’t need to do so much but for the consequences of Brexit and incompetent govement implemntation of our asylum system.I think we need to start housing immigrants in hotels away from the areas populated by pig ignorant racists - maybe some of the more leafy and affluent areas populated by more wealthy and generally better educated folk? They would doubtless see the opportunity to welcome increased diversity in their communities.
Agree with all that, but by shoving them in already deprived areas like faded glory Victorian seaside towns (skeggy as an example) we are inviting the scapegoating of them by impoverished native residents. I understand the reasoning - shit holes like skeggy have a lot of cheaply available accommodation. There is a travel lodge not to far from the BS39 6UR postcode where the Rees-Mogg family seat of Gournay Court is. Maybe refugees/asylum seekers should be housed there rather than skegvegas?Well we don’t house immigrants they usually make their own arrangements before coming. The government is managing the system in a way to cause maximum hysteria. Tories love talking tough on 'immigration' when they mean asylum seekers. The vast majority of immigrants are foreign students. Asylum seekers could be housed without a fuss, processed quickly and given the right to work. But Tories won't do that as they get far move votes if people are worried about the 'invasion'.Well we don’t house immigrants they usually make their own arrangements before coming. Was only being daft.In what way? Genuine question as I don’t follow their fortunes but I thought it was making unsustainable losses even before covid and certainly before Brexit?

I think Covid fucked their business model for the reason you alluded to.
I was originally referring to a dreadful metropolitan woman on Question Time who said (Marie Antionette style) “who are we going to get to serve us in Pret?” (after Brexit). As much as I …errr….remain a Remainer it’s easy to understand why a working class person in the north would find that offensive and make some of them more likely to vote Leave.
Annoyingly can’t find the clip.
There's a thing. And Brexit means more brown people!
