How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Holiday parks (Haven, Centre Parcs, Gullivers) struggling to get staff (and effectively two young Brits needed for every east European that worked). Good job the low cost holidays like caravan parks aren't getting as many customers as that's the clientele most at financial pressure. And all the catering schools are turning out chefs who all want to work in posh restaurants.

well I suppose the thing is in times of war to shit on an ally is bad form and anyway under the terms we signed up to for the CPTPP we become rule takers not rule makers ...... that in itself would be funny were it not so tragic. Sheep farmers around here are selling stock before they become knock down prices and a guy in the Voyager our local pub tells me a farmer he does work for has got planning permission for his land - oh great an 8th new estate in 5 years - shame they shut the library and the local authority offices eh?

I'm not sure I understand the to what I posted (or Brexit when it comes to libraries.. mine closed in 2015.. whilst in the EU).
The point is, we have the option of raising tariffs on Lamb if you want to protect the sheep farmers. We didn't take that option, but we have the option. Control.

Nah mate my post was documenting what has happened here as yours was in your locale' - disaster capitalists winning - and the council offices I referenced - 10 years old and earmarked for demolition - no plans to replace it with improved childcare provision as is needed.......oh no new retail units planned because there are not enough empty shops on the High Street
