I’d not have “resolve” and “mess” for a starter. It’s a leader and fodder for the same repetitive posters to post the same stuff ad nauseam.

I was going to respond the other day to a post about it all being Cameron’s fault, typed a lengthy analysis of the failures of the remain campaign but then really couldn’t be arsed with it as I know it will draw the same one line responses followed by the same posters trying to go down a rabbit hole. The quality of discussion on this thread is a consequence of the posters, not the topic.

Absolutely agreed with the need to move on from the last thread but agree, we haven’t and the title change did nothing to suggest we have or will.

Which kind of supports what I’m saying.
I get your point about certain words leading a view of a thread, but every thread whether light or dark, does the same.
The direction each thread takes has nothing much to do with the title.

I stay out of what I consider GB or UK business but do occasionally throw my oar in when it concerns Irish relations, but I do read what is said in here whenever there are new posts.

The thread title change was Ric’s own idea though, not anyone in here’s.

My flippant remark about the frequency and perhaps the usefulness of a title change being akin to the UK government changing PM stands however.
Neither changes anything of substance.

That’s a fair comment but they are just words and a debate about the thread title doesn’t really do much to debate the issue which is, probably, how do we manage in the post Brexit world.

It has at least brought you and Oldham Exile or whatever he used to be called back to the thread
