How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Still this with so many twats. An unmitigated never ending disaster, now supported by the, King of the Wankers, Starmer. And you could make it up, so ridiculous this country has become. Incompetent Tory vermin, both Blue and Red, wrestling to see who the biggest shower of cunts are who will take us further down the shitter.

Still, blue passports and sovereignty makes it all worthwhile for the take the knee, we know our place, yes sir no sir, god bless ya govnor, peasants and let’s not forget not only the casual racists, but the ballsout fascists.

All those jobs the foreigners were taking are still vacant. Funny that. Don’t get me wrong mostly in the service sector and most of the moronic, socially embarrassing twats, command of their own language makes them unsuitable for most things. Tragically we still let them vote. A cross is their fucking limit.

Damned fine rant.

I visited Buxton yesterday with my son & elder daughter and took in the Buxton Crescent guided tour (we all found it genuinely interesting and the restoration is absolutely superb).

There was a mention by the female guide that a University scheme linked to Buxton (with thousands of European students) had to be scrapped, sadly, in 2021.
I've been trying to find exactly what it was.

She said this matter of factly, just dropped it in with all the interesting facts about the town's history. But it felt like one of those many, many small things that adds up as 'shot ourselves in the foot' moment.
I know one or two from the wider area who voted to leave and just hope listening to stuff like that they realise what a monumental fuck up they've made for many here now.

I did wonder if the town received any EU funding. Feels like the Crescent refurb could lift that town quite considerably, breathing new life into it. But a fair bit of the area clearly has some run down moments.

It’s funny how posters keep coming on here giving specific examples (macro and micro) of the damage Brexit has caused, but no **** ever posts a single example of a benefit.

The only benefit I’ve experienced is the schadenfreude I feel when reading about some bellend who voted for Brexit who had to sell his dream retirement home in Spain (or wherever) at a loss because they don’t meet the requirements for residency, and seeing them whine that it wasn’t the Brexit they voted for.

That and getting to boorishly pontificate to fellow passengers at passport control in EU airports. It’s a living breathing example of their folly, so works like a piece of street art.

That even worked in non-EU Norway last week, because they’re not stupid enough not to be in the EEA even though they never joined the EU.

It's been well rehearsed as to why Starmer isn't advocating rejoining. Getting all the other EU countries to let us back just isn't likely. Saying "we'll make Brexit work" is a bit daft but I'm not sure what slogan would be realistic, or wise. "Brexit was a stupid idea, but we'll try and mitigate the problems" doesn't exactly trip off the tongue.

Fairly sure that Labour’s version of making Brexit work will consist of ensuring no divergence of regulations and getting into a position via bilateral agreements that we will effectively be in the Single Market in all but name, then making it official in the parliament after next. Farage and the swivel eyed loons are already accusing Sunak of selling out so it won’t make any difference if we actually do get rid of the stupid stuff associated with Brexit, and face reality.

How about “We’ve fucking blown it”? It’s punchy and pithy.
