How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

I used to love going over to europe and just driving, camping across different countries. Havent been since Brexit unfortunately :(

But I guess brexiteers are glad about that given the fucked up hate world we live in.

I do miss travelling easily and freely around europe though.
In last 36 months I’ve traveled easily and freely around and across, amongst other places: Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Portugal.
But you’ve not bothered since Brexit so maybe you’re right to not love travelling anymore.

So Farage was right, Turkey has joined the EU!

Just watched a very interesting Nationwide program on RTE from the port of Rosslare.
Trade with Britain through the port has fallen 20-30%, but trade with the continent has gone up over 300%.
There are huge plans to expand the port doubling it’s size and freight capacity. Infrastructure including rail and motorway connectivity which will eliminate traffic lights from the port all the way to Belfast.

This alongside the 6 o’clock news item telling of similar plans for a brand new deep water port construction off the coast of Meath to take the increased traffic for Drogheda, tells us that huge opportunities have come our way as a result of increased European trade that has resulted from Brexit.
The actuality of business is clear that the certainty of logistical scheduling bypassing Britain is huge for all concerned.

Nolan Freight in Rosslare are very happy.
When I suggested this would happen in response to someone saying the EU needed Great Britain as a land bridge to Ireland I was told that I was deluded.

I’ve also travelled to quite a few countries in the last 36 months. Mostly it’s been fairly easy but it’s undeniable that in the busier airports and at St Pancras for the Eurostar there’s been quite a bit of extra queueing to get passports stamped.

Cant be arsed with your childish one upmanshit.

It was easy now its more difficult.

Go and try and work in those countries, see how you go on!
We were discussing travel. I’ve not noticed a discernible difference.
I’ve lived and worked in France and Germany. Would love to again but doubt I will. What’s been your experience? I’ve heard plenty horror stories.

It's become a nightmare, and I don't blame the Euro countries in any way, we stabbed them in the back and they will have the last laugh.

It’s now more difficult. Correct. It’s easy. Also correct. (In my experience.)
It isnt difficult to go on holiday in Europe now that’s true. It is more difficult than it was though, it’s also impossible or extremely difficult for anyone to decide to go and spend a few months there , or maybe work their way around Europe for a year or two, or to retire there, or just move there to start a new life.
All freedoms we have lost. All for not a single good reason or benefit, that’s what I can’t understand.
