Forgive me for not sharing your confidence that “we’ll be fine”

Neither party are capable of creating miracles. And unfortunately that’s what is needed to get us out of this fucking almighty self-made disaster.

Except it isn’t dying.

Although its share price has taken a big hit due to Covid and the cost of living crisis, in its most recent results sales are up and it’s back in profit. Probably a buying opportunity if you can be arsed with foreign holdings and the consequent tax complexities.

It’s consolidating its share trading to Frankfurt because the advantages of having a dual listing in London are no longer there. Can’t think why.

It's an uncomfortable national debate that will be needed when the next government in place.

Even moreso if Trump wins at the PM will have to say for our national security we'll need to improve relations with the EU.
