How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

This is a very interesting thread which illustrates how much of a reverse ferret Brexit action is over Brexit rhetoric

Utterly bizarre reasoning. It’s not as if latest figures show trade with Germany down 16% from pre-pandemic whereas German trade with rest of EU is up 14%.

It feels like we have given up as a country.

‘Control over our borders’. The U.K. now has the Royal Navy escorting (not deterring) thousands of migrants into port each week. As defence budgets come under increased pressure, is that really the role envisaged for the senior service?

Love to get a list together or the Brexit Architects (and not those using it to leverage themselves into Power).
Trace back their initial reasoning, what they personally stood to gain from it.

The only ones who mention if are the current lot vying for the top spot when it's still a potential vote winner.

They should each be pinned down to what they mean to do. Do you mean to carry on antagonising the EU and disadvantaging farming, fishing and manufacturing, or realise that a big majority say leaving the EU was a mistake and now don't believe they are any great Brexit benefits to come? Oh, and how come the EU has now got a better deal with New Zealand than we did?

Christ.
So so it wasn’t done after all….

*wags finger - ahhh you cheesy imp
Perhaps it was done last year and has become undone this year? Perhaps it is still done but Boris missed it cos he was too busy at a party? But it must have been done because otherwise all these Muppets saying "Boris got Brexit done" will be telling porkies. And that would never be the case. Would it.
