How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Watching the to and Froing in Stormont is another example of the shitshow.
A lot of the bullshit from both sides over the past 100+ years being highlighted and coming to a head….. again.

But the DUP would rather be ruled from Westminster than sit with a SF first minister in an operational Assembly.
Im not sure the threat of more involvement from Dublin was what they were expecting from a ‘Unionist’ government in London.
Over their dead bodies, yada yada yada.
Ulster will fight and Ulster will be right.
No surrender.

Tell me, what century are we in ?

They are so transparent. Their whole defence revolves about ‘your precious GFA doesn’t allow you do that to us’.
The same GFA they would love to tear up. The irony.
‘Sinn Fein don’t take their seats in Westminster.’
Whataboutery. Look over there. Nothing to see here. It’s their fault.

Meanwhile they’ll cause an election going to the voters saying if you vote for us we’ll refuse to go into Assembly, but will gladly still get paid out of UK public money.
And people will still vote for them.

They basically do not want to recognise that the NIP puts NI into a unique position in the UK trade wise. A position Scotland would give their right arm to be in.

Yes they have concerns that they would like the UK government to renegotiate, bearing in mind that they supported Boris with this in the first place.
But the UK hasn’t had a government to negotiate anything with anyone and they know that.

They are the ultimate in hypocrisy and as I said, transparent. They’d rather bring the whole thing down than face the inevitable which is Sinn Fein growing as the largest party and the future consequences with that.

Matthew Parris, former Tory MP, echoing exactly what plenty of us have been saying for a long time. I remember him writing back about 2018 that most of the Tory cabinet at the time were saying in private that Brexit was a mistake but would never say it in public. And he’s friends with most of them.549C33BD-814E-4D3F-BDE7-0C9F968993FA.png

Beyond stupid. 70m cars produced worldwide in 2016, 79m last year. Might have been 80m but for UK now producing a million cars fewer a year since Brexit.

You clearly gave up reading the article after a paragraph, as it likely you understood nothing and don't wish too. We are in a global economy, not a European one.

So he gets paid for copying the arguments on this City fans' thread?

Even when you're trying to make a serious point, it's balderdash.

You posted about one below-par month in a trend of rising car production. Before Brexit, Britain's car industry was at an all-time high and looking to expand. Here, production has plummetted to less than half what it was, while global production has gone up at least 5%.
