How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

30,000 people watching GB News on an average day and falling, just like the viewing figures for Talk TV, with their 5,000 viewers a day and falling, puts the foghorn of ignorance and his cohorts into the irrelevance bin. I like to think so.

It's such a shame he didn't understand the Dublin agreement which we were signatories to while members of the EU, but he did personally profit to the tune of millions while heading the limited company called UKIP, masquerading as a political party and charging their customers £100 or whatever it was to be considered as prospective MP's for his company, none of whom were chosen to have their names put on any ballot paper. That income stream continued for a long while after their candidates had been chosen.

He's a fraud and one of the most destructive people in our history.
And they’ll almost certainly be the same 30,000 as well!
Can‘t believe sitting government MP’s are hosting shows, on a supposed news channel, interviewing government ministers on policy and laws being proposed/introduced. This runs contrary to all accepted practice and yet the regulatory poodles, as ever, do nothing that acts in the public good and everything that acts in big business and government good. Shit in the rivers, household fuel bills through the roof (linking green energy prices to the prevailing gas price), annual exam chaos, banking regulation (ha), CQC, Social Housing, communications (did you all notice that almost ALL phone and broadband is now going up by CPI + 3.9% EVERY YEAR. So, inflation 0%, bill up by 3.9%, inflation 10%, bill up by 13.9% which, by the way the government talks about pay, must be, in itself, inflationary!

He can’t offer an alternative either because he has created it. There’s a delicious irony in the fact that his controversial ‘Breaking Point’ poster is set to become Government policy.

None of the people that promoted brexit have offered any detailed explanation or plan as to how it could be a success. Other than 'let's make it work' or some other slogan, it's just an empty promise that flies in the face of cold hard reality that investmet in the UK has sunk to an all time low since 2016, and the slow but steady decine of our economy will continue unabated for the foresseable future.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that 'culture wars' will be at the heart of our governments next election campaign.

Appealing to the base elements of our electorate is all they have left, and fortunately most people recognise the damage they have inflicted on us all with their unnecessarily cruel policies.

A tax giveaway costing the Treasury £1B in lost revenue with the removal of the lifetime cap on pension contributions benefiting nobody but the wealthy at a time of struggle for so many in so many ways hasn't gone unnoticed, and their poll ratings have declined even further as a result.

They are laying the groundwork for their stick to beat Labour with in a few years time when they are on the oppostion benches with their childcare funding policy that won't become law until after they have lost the last election, and it's unclear if the country can afford it, but It's on a par with their promise a few years ago that basic rate income tax would now be reduced to 19% in their budget statement in 2020.

It's always jam tomorrow with this lot. They promise the Earth, and deliver nothing but shit.
