How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

If you put trade deals to one side; One of the remaining issues is fishing territories I believe?

Not 17 documents by hand oh God no, I probably sign 60 a day takes about 10 minutes all by hand as well.
That’s one every ten seconds. You must be checking each one very carefully.

And are you the only person in your organisation involved in the forms? How do they find their way to your desk, and who deals with them afterwards?

I hope your organization has a plan to spread the workload or automate some of it, because no one person should have to manage that volume solo

Yep I check them or we don’t get paid, obviously the girls in the office pre print the forms. Department of Energy security forms are a way of life you get use to it.:-)

You must be a quicker reader than me mate!
Monkey see monkey do mate everything’s in same place so you soon get to notice something not right, you wouldn’t believe how many forms req’d to fit air source heat pump in social housing and that’s our Government all Governments seem to love signed forms. Even when we were in EU shipping by sea involved plenty of forms and we’re surrounded by the stuff :-)

as long as there are fuckwits like this it will never be resolved - watch to the end and you will be aghast as to his solution.

SPOILER -he thinks it will be fixed by a man who hasn't mentioned fishing since 2016

Since we left the EU in 2020 the Tories didn’t get any major deals done with major economies. Johnson said our deal with the EU would be oven ready but has left us with the stagnating flat growth economy we have got now. Starmer is having a go at making the shit show of brexit trying to work better than what 4 pro brexit Tory PMs did. We have some of the fastest growth of any G7 countries at the moment, where would we have been if we had not pissed on our chips being outside of the EU customs Union?

His, and his parties position, is based on ideology, that Brexit should be upheld in the way it was implemented. Not once did he acknowledge that it’s been a net negative for this country and also tried to argue that we would be bowing to EU legislation as we would have to adhere to things such as food standards.

Imagine that, basically telling people that their party don’t want high food standards. That also applies to workers rights, waterways, etc, which his party have progressively enacted policies which have seen reduced standards in this country, and they want to go further.

No wonder they’re in such a state with that kind of mindset, they have lost all understanding of the practicalities that the British public are facing.
