How Do You Get Your Music?

So can I swap to what you're using and get a similar thing?
If so I could save a bit of cash it all helps.
I only use it on my phone, link it to the motor via Bluetooth, plug into my old bose at home.

If you have an Android phone then yes you can.

Deezloader is basically a hack into Deezer, which is very similar to Spotify. You can download any tracks or albums that are on Deezer permanently to your device. You don’t get the features of Deezer / Spotify such as suggestions etc but I set all my playlists up on Musicolet, which is an ad free player from Play Store (free).

If you or anyone else wants instructions to install and set up Deezloader (it has got a bit more tricky) then I’m happy to post them.

Being a tight get I like as much as possible for free. I use Deezloader after seeing it mentioned in a thread on here. I have more or less all the music I like downloaded to my tablet for free & it's great.

What do you use?

Thanks mate, to be honest it sounds like too much faffery for a knobber with computers like me lol.

Buy cds on line (Amazon or Music Magpie) then burn them as flac files to a music streamer which has a built in CD player and hard drive. I’ve bought about 700 cds over the years and I’ve found that having my music in one place and able to listen at cd quality I’m listening to a lot more music.
I’ve got a hi res portable device which also plays flac files so Im copying them across to that too.

If that works for you then great.
Why would you go to all that trouble though?
Gen question mate it seems an awful lot of faffery

I use Spotify. I've found that switching to a streaming service makes such a huge difference to the amount of new music I listen to. Gets rid of all the faff.

Fair question. I had all these cds but they’re kept in another room and I found I was buying them but never playing them. Now when my other half is watching the soaps I get the choice of all my cds at my fingertips. To be honest it’s not a lot if hassle as you stick your new cd in the unit, it finds the meta data from a database and it rips it to the hard drive - pretty much like iTunes.

I also don’t want to listen to streaming services with lower quantity music. This is why I prefer flac files.

OK mate no worries makes sense now.
Thanks for the reply.
Still don't know what a flac is or meta data.
I guess an old fucker like me doesn't need to know lol.
I'm amazed I got Spotify to play in my car.
And chrome cast through my telly.
Take care bud

Cheers mate. Glad I’ve found another old fucker on here!
A flac file is a music file which is the same quality as the original cd. Where as a mp3 file is inferior in quality but smaller in size so it’s more versatile. A lot of people argue they can’t tell the difference so it’s all a bit subjective.
