How do you true blues feel about the enigmatic Mario Balotelli?

Great character, nice guy, but not a top player.

Would be an incredible signing for NYCFC, on and off the pitch. Marketing dream plus he'd score loads of goals over there and enjoy it.

Was sad to see him leave, but we had to get rid at that point. Could've been a truly great player with as much talent as anyone, but just wouldn't knuckle down and focus.

"Why always me?"

Can't judge his personality as I don't know the man. Some on here rave about his personality as if they went out with him every weekend for years. Get real.

Can judge his footie when at City. Lots of talents thrown away by the man himself. Not a team player by any means. We all remember just two matches where he shone: semi vs rags at Wembley and 6-1 vs rags at Old Shatford. Otherwise it's a serie of rare highlights during games, mostly remembered his one and only assist for Aguero on the 13th of May 2012. But I also remember how he frustrated the hell out of me with stupid things on the pitch giving opponents and refs their eagerly awaited chance to have a go at him. And it cost us. His relationship with Mancini went down badly with a lot of first team players. So happy to get rid and I never want him back ever.

He was fun to have for a year.

He was an arrogant, selfish, undisciplined twat who thought he could do whatever he wanted to do, whenever he wanted to do it. His is a totally wasted talent as he could have been a great, if only he'd been more of a team player. In one season he would make more headlines for his off field antics than most players would in a career.

His was a flawed talent but I couldn't wait to see the guy come on the park.as you just didn't know which Mario would turn up and I just loved every minute of it. What a journey we were on when Mario was here.

For all of his faults I feel blessed that he wore the city shirt - we all know he has the ability to be one of the games superstars - he is just messed up inside. I thank him for the majestic performance against the rags and also the crucial part in the goal that eventually won us the premiership (and yes I forgive him for all of the other times he let us down). But most of all I wish him well - no malice from me just a pleasure to have known him and I sincerely wish that he finds the happiness and contentment he richly deserves.
